Additional Partnership Opportunities Available

Approximately 20 Alliance and UNCA members will have the opportunity to partner with local ARAMARK teams in 2010.

To qualify, members must work in and with residents of a community in which ARAMARK also operates. The proposed partnership project should focus on at least one of ARAMARK’s three core areas: workforce readiness, community health and wellness, and basic human needs.

Emelda Douglas, senior vice president and chief development officer at Neighborhood Centers Inc., Houston, which is a member of both the Alliance and UNCA, advises organizations considering a partnership with ARAMARK to take time to build a long-term relationship with the company.

“Don’t approach this as, ‘What can you do for me?’” she says. “Take the partnership seriously and take time to understand how special this company is. It’s an investment that will pay off.”

Members interested in collaborating with ARAMARK should contact Jerica Broeckling, UNCA member relations associate, at 414-359-6605, to discuss whether the organization qualifies and to review the partnership connection process.
